Our Technology

Elite Power Solutions (EPS) has been focusing on developing engineering solutions for high performance, safe and low cost Li-ion batteries to be used in EV applications.

EPS’ key innovations and solutions include:

- Scalable battery cell design for large format Li-ion batteries
- Unique processing techniques that eliminate electrode “flexing” phenomenon for better cycle life
- Increased cathode material utilization for better energy density and low cost
- Electrochemistry engineering for thermal stability and safety performance
- Increased surface area of current collector for high power density


Our Manufacturing

Our current manufacturing facility is located in Zhejiang Province, China (Zhejiang GBS Energy Co., Ltd.). Our goal is to achieve high quality and high efficiency in manufacturing and to exceed customers’ expectations in every aspect.

EPS has industrialized advanced R&D solutions in high volume manufacturing and developed practical and efficient processing techniques, in order to produce the state-of-the-art Li-ion batteries with high performance, high quality and low cost. EPS’ processing technology is able to materialize EPS’ scalable battery cell design and maximize cathode material utilization rate to achieve low cost, and to utilize advanced electrochemistry engineering solutions to achieve high energy density, high power density and high thermal stability. Advanced automation, process control and quality assurance methodologies are fully deployed in our manufacturing facility for manufacturing quality and consistency.

EPS is currently in preparation of setting up a new manufacturing facility in the U.S. to serve the U.S. automotive market.
